Results: The Only Thing That Matters . I wont lie to you, when I first started coaching it was “my way or no way”. I wasn’t open minced and if you didn’t do things like me, well, you had to have been wrong because I obv wasn’t. . But, a few years and a ton of situations where I made myself out to be an ass, I came to realize that realistically there is no “wrong” way to eat or workout so long as it does not cause injury and isn’t a big time health risk. . That’s not to say I don’t have my preferences and methods that I personally use, I do. But, now I don’t make it all about me — because it isn’t, which is unfortunate tbh. The most important thing about any nutrition or workout plan is whether or not it gets you closer (or further away) to your goals. . Could some methods work better than others? Maybe, maybe not. The key, though, is that even if they did work better — in theory — it doest matter one bit if it isn’t sustainable. Ive said it a million times and ill say it again here: Perfect plans only exist on paper, and if all they do is stay on paper and never get acted upon it doesn’t matter anyway. . Many roads can and will lead to results. Your friend Lisa may think its CrossFit or die, but Lisa probably just needs to get off the internet and out of her bubble filled with FitAid and Progenex. Find something that works for you and something you can stick with and enjoy (if that happens to be CrossFit — do the damn thing!). . Life is too short to not get the results you want because you didn’t enjoy and couldn’t stick to your plan. . What’s have you found that works for you and why? What hasn’t worked?
